MM and 5QT lodge Dutch oven

Anyone know if the 5qt lodge Dutch oven fits in the MM with the lid closed?

I use a 5qt on the small all the time. I believe the two domes are the same.

I don't think it will fit or it will be really close. In the small egg the fire ring sits a few inches below the felt line. I tried a 5 qt dutch oven on the small with the woo in place and the dome wouldn't quite close.

Well as proven many times over, I'm a moron, as it appears mine is a 7 qt not 5. But here's a picture anyways. Sorry.

looks like it. Be sure to slide it to the back...thermometer gets in the way.

Just put the thermometer clip like this. You can pull it out, close the lid and just drop it back in.
