First one I've done...Thanks to those of you who gave tips... Was outstanding. Reverse wear on RW to 125 then seared in cast iron 1.5 each side. Did 2 separate roasts as mom and wifey like it medium plus... Creamed spinach and sweet potato casserole. Pics start through finish s

Excellent. I picked up a whole Tenderloin from Publix before Christmas and will probably cook for New Years Eve - I think the reverse sear is the way to go. Like the cast iron idea - Haven't tried that before.

I feel like a few folks on here are down on the idea of cast iron for sear on tenderloin... It did not fail. Was excellent. I did dry the loin overnight in the fridge.
