Spatchcock chicken on the mini????

Can you do a chicken, spatchcock style, on the mini? or can you stand a chicken up and do it beer-can style???

    George,the mini has a 9 inch grill. It is too small for beer-butt or spatchcocked chicken. The small size Egg can do either of these....

    I've done a spatchcock on my mini but I had to cut off the thighs and drumsticks and re-arrange it so that it would fit. Not a lot of room on the mini for this. If I were to do it again I would remove the drumsticks all together and save those for another day.

    George,[p]You might be able to fit a spatchcock sparrow, but probably not even a gamne hen. [p]You can however do 3 or 4 burgers, several filets, two chicken breast and four thighs to perfection![p]Smokey
