I have posted a few times before, and am still looking for passionate Eggheads (are there any other kind?) in the Baltimore, MD, area, who would be available to host Big Green Egg cooking demos on weekends during the summer.
The frequency of the demos is dependent on your availability. I'm looking for demo chefs in Columbia, MD, and Hunt Valley, MD.
Did I mention...we will pay you for your time and for the ingredients you use (within budget).
You must have an outgoing personality, a love for all things Big Green Egg, and be comfortable speaking to groups and one-on-one with the general public.
Interested? Please contact me.
Thanks!

Erin,
I don't want to presume to speak for everyone on here, but can I offer you some advice? Maybe post some pics of cooks that you are doing, establish yourself as a thought leader and a true community member, and participate in the forum a little bit more. By doing so you will foster a lot of goodwill and people will genuinly want to help both you and your store succeed. We are a passionate group of egger's who( much to the chagrin of our better halves) spend a lot of money on our chosen way of life. So you wouldn't just be getting volunteers you would be getting cutsomers as well. I think it might rub people the wrong way when all you post about is getting people to come cook at your store. There needs to be a two way relationship. For example, when I joined the forum I knew nothing about making a brisket. We simply didn't cook those growing up in GA. However, I did know a lot about pulled pork and offered my advice as often as I could to anyone acquiring about it. That way people were quick to help me with my first brisket cook. Sorry for the novel, but I want everyone to have a great experience here and I truly would like your business to succeed.
Thanks,
Alex
