All the time, worse thing that happens....you get wet!

If you are set on the pork tomorrow search the turbo method. People seem to have good results. And u won't melt it ain't raining that hard here.Henderson TN. 1 large BGE, 1 Webber Gasser (recently seems to have converted into a warming oven)

Many times. The egg doesn't give a rat's @ss what the forecast is. Smokeware is a plus if your doing a L&S in torrential downpours. I can honestly say I've never skipped out on any cook due to rain etc. It's definitely not as fun for the egghead.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

I have the Stainless Chimney Cap. I cooked a butt in the rain yesterday with no issues and I have an umbrella setup that is opened up over the BGE and table. Worked out great and the butt was amazing!

If you dont have a smokeware cap or space for umbrella fashion a little bonnet with a wire coat hanger and foil. Anything to keep the rain out. Otherwise all the same.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.

Patio umbrella here attached to the porch. Mainly to keep me dry, but it does extend over the egg. I actually love cooking in the rain, but then again I love the rain...I'm weird.
Fish, Hunt, Cook....anything else?

I didn't mind the rain so much as the snow, so I built a roof over my grill patio.

Spent 3 hours cooking in rain yesterday, reason I didn't take pics for proof. Ruined thermometer, and I think my neighbors felt I have gone over the edge ! But everything turned out fantastic. No issues at all.

I used to egg regardless of the weather. Rain, snow, below 0°, above 100°, whatever. I rather enjoy the snow, but I HATE egging in the rain! The egg doesn't care... I care. So, I don't any more.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I never wait for good weather here in MN. Brisket last night in the rain.

You can take the rain totally out of the system and allow your Egg to function normally: www.perfectbbqtek.com Here is a video of an early version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iX5b_zqL8pgBest - Jack

This (Smokeware Chimney Cap) works for me as well.

One time I put on a butt and about 30 minutes later it started raining. It rained for 17 hours straight and I didn't have any problems.1 large BGE, Spartanburg SC

Found this umbrella for like 60 bucks; however, does not work well in wind

I don't think I have ever done a L&S when its not raining. My cooks tend to be the best rain dance going. They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That's against their interests. - George Carlin

6" vent cap, fits right over the daisy wheel snug.County of Parkland, Alberta, Canada

I did most of the weekend under a tent I got it at ****'s Sporting Goods for $80 bucks last summer. SS Smoke wear cap is cheaper, but I wanted to stay dry. The daisy wheel is pretty good at keeping the rain out too, you will just have to open it up a little more to keep the temp you want.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

I've used the chimney cap trick, $10-15 bucks for one that is large enough to cover the DFMT so I don't have to change my vent settings.
