Let's try this...
That 30 minute pizza I made on the Egg yesterday still had one piece left. I just couldn't eat another slice and was thinking of tossing it.
But then I read a reply from Mickey that he likes cold pizza for breakfast. I don't, but it did give me an idea. I'll make a Leftover Pizza Omelete.
Here's some photos of start to finish.
Here's the slice I started with.

Here it is after I scraped off the toppings along with a wee bit 'o crust.
2 by springchickentexas, on Flickr
I prepared a Muddy Blary and some scrambled eggs. (the Muddy Blary was for me)
3 by springchickentexas, on Flickr
I threw it into a hot pan with plenty of butter.
4 by springchickentexas, on Flickr
I poured in the scrambled eggs.

The Eggs are starting to set.
6 by springchickentexas, on Flickr
I gently folded it all together.

I prepared the table.

And served in small slices until gone.

Yes, it was delicious. Yes, I will do it again. And yes, it can and will be done on the Egg next time.
So now we-who-can't-bear-the-thought-of-eating-cold-pizza-for-breakfast have an option for pizza leftovers.
You're welcome.

Will that work with leftover ribs?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Now you're talking. I have about half a rack in the fridge. I'm doing that tomorrow!

That looks great! I've never cared much for LOP either. I may have to try this.

Hell, I ate cold ribs last night while I was cutting them off for tacos, but I'm doing the omelette tomorrow. (I'll still likely eat some cold while I'm cutting. Can't help it.)

On the same route as you went.....leftover omelets are awesome....taco omelets rule!!!! Another fun one is a pasta omelet, (fresh mac'n cheese is fun). But then again...there's the spaghetti burrito....why mess a dish, wrap it, heat it, eat it...

I'm a big fan of omelets and that's a nice looking one.
But I'm also a big fan of cold LOP. Don't know why.

As promised: left over rib omelette. I should qualify this with I'm the worst omelette turner on the face of this earth and likely beyond. That said, his was really good. Ribs, Gouda and havarti.with obligatory fork.
