<p />Well this was inspired by Mickey T's Wave. It got me thinking about a more defined way to determine the bottom vent setting. The initial test run makes me think that if I close all but one hole I am bordering on killing the fire. Right now i've got ribs on and its holding steady at 250 with three holes. I think i got this temp thing figured out![p]Scott

Smokey,[p]Thanks, I figure i'm always over adjusting, this gives me a referance point on where to go back, nice thing its kind of hard to over adjust. So far the temp has been rock solid, I haven't been able to hold 250 steady on more than a handful of cooks.[p]Scott
