Any eggers out there from Greenville SC area?

I have driven by a house In my daughters sub division and saw a guy cooking on a LBGE and I just wondered how many other Egg heads were around my area.

  • Yes, Five Forks area at Roper Mtn and Batesville Rd--just down the road from Pool and Spa connection which is egg dealer.  Not in your daughter's subdivision as my Egg can't be seen from road driving by.

  • Spartanburg, SC about 20 min away from greenville.  We orda have a get together for all of the areas eggers.

Greenville, SC close to Furman University. Our egg is on the back deck, so can't be seen from the road either.

  • Work @ Pool and Spa Connection S.ville, & Spt.burg. Live in Gray Court. We do  Egg demos @ both locations. The North Georgia Eggers usually help out.
    ·
  • Now cooking @ Spartanburg, S.C. on the Lg. egg. Baked Mozzarella & Pepperoni Egg Rolls. Next to the last batch. Rat now.
    ·
  • If you guys ever wana get together and share some recipes over a few beers let me know.
    ·
  • Actually, rather than getting together and talking about recipes, Ronnie just needs to give us advance notice of his next store cook.  Then, whichever us can go can show up and cook. I think they just have one large, so could just share the cooking time.  And I have my tailgating small I can bring along if I can make it to the cook.

  • Plus, all of us aren't far from Hiawassee, so put the Georgia Mountain Eggfest on your calendar for next May, it is a great event.  Sign up to cook if you want to, but definitely go--second biggest eggfest behind Stone Mtn event.

  • Simpsonville myself. Five Forks area. My egg can be seen and smelled from the road. I've had many neighbors riding by stop and comment on the wonderful smell coming from my back yard.
    ·
  • Hiawassee was on the calendar a month ago after I came back from my first eggtoberfest at stone mt. And had a blast.
    ·
  • Landrum checking in. I am sure there are plenty more.

  • North Augusta here.  Not exactly close to Greenville, but hey, it's still SC.

  • I don't live in Greenville but will be tailgating and cooking on my mini at Furman University this weekend. Go Paladins!
    ·
  • Add another to Columbia.  Spent my first day or quality time in the downtown area of Greenville not too long ago.  I wish we could get the vista or main street in similar fashion... it's pretty freakin sweet!

Another Columbia egger here too. Gonna try to make it to Hiawassee again this year. That's where I bought my first egg a few years back. Beautiful area and there is a cool vineyard nearby too.

Yes, about 3-4 times a year! I take my egg to my brother's house when I visit him. I live 3 hrs away though.

  • fear the OTHER HAND....after last night and another demoralizing victory against DAbo's taters.... The year old saying of fear the thumb is now over... winning 5 in a row has come and now it should be fear the other hand i guess. I figured most of you on this thread are taters so i figured i would post it here  :P
