Camping with Small....Multiple Cooks

We went camping this weekend at Black Rock Park at Lake Buchanon Texas. I brought the small and had fun egging while we camped.
Friday night was chicken tacos; started with a spatchcock chicken season with Tsunami Spin.
Saturday breakfast was chicken quesadillas with leftover chicken.
Lunch was streak sandwiches; seasoned the steaks wit Claude's. Due to hunger (beer?), failed to get a before photo.
Dinner was pulled pork. Used a pork rub from the elf exchange. Pulled pork came out great, and I was impressed with how well the small did in a long slow cook.

Looks like a real good time and eats had by all!! BTW - what kind of drip pan you using with the Small Woo? All the ones I have found are just a tad to tall once I get an airspace between the pan and stone.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Looks awesome. Been debating on the small or mini for my outdoor adventures.
I didn't know you could get camping tents with wooden doors.

@mattman3969 - I have the rig, stone and drip pan from Ceramic Grill Store...but I didn't use the drip pan, I just covered the stone with foil. @tuttle871 - we usually tent camp, but with a 2 year old and 4 month old we did a primitive cabin, and I have to say...it was pretty sweet.LBGE & SBGE. Real niceSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

@hotch the lake was low but not crazy low like Travis. The cabins were "lakefront", the lake is usually right there but was now a 150 yard walk away.LBGE & SBGE. Central Texas.

@CPARKTX, some pretty good looking "assistant cooks" you got there!John in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

@hotch - correct, the cabins are small, but have A/C and air. No bathrooms but there were clean facilities about 50 yards awayLBGE & SBGE. Central Texas.

What does the small weigh? I might have enjoyed that with the boat...that I just sold.Just far enough north of DFW to be "rural"...and close enough to be urban, depending on my mood.
-
@txav8r sold my boat last month, bitter sweet. Don't know exact weight (go to the biggreenegg.com website for specs), but I'll comment that it isn't so much the weight as the fact that it is pretty awkward...you'll see a lot of people here that have the Egg Carten to make transporting easier.LBGE & SBGE.
