We hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July weekend and is excited for more warm weather grilling! This week, we’ll be making these two burgers: Stuffed Portobello Mushroom and Caribbean Chicken, and also eating lots of these Ice Cream Sandwiches in honor of National Ice Cream Month! My Custom LBGE Table

Loosely based on the design here:

I work with a guy that does custom cabinets and recruited him to help me build my table.  

100% Western Red Cedar.

1.5" angle iron support for the Egg

Recessed paver for the Egg to sit on

Flush mounted 22"x24" granite remnant ($10 on craigslist!)

No casters, I don't plan to move it.

I had to double the pavers because the hinge just touches the table.  I'll either cut out an area for the hinge or built a 1/2" spacer on top of the angle iron, under the paver to raise it enough for the hinge to clear.  

I need to get some mulch today to put under and around it.
