Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. 1st time smoking chicken

I have never smoked a chicken before on my BGE.  Wondering if anyone has any suggestions/tips for me.  I have a whole chicken, wings and thighs.  Going to try something new on the mother-in-law for her birthday.  Could be bad.

Spatchcock, the best chicken in the world. Have done I using Greek spices and lemon/pepper, both most excellent.

Welcome aboard and you will enjoy the BGE.  Playing the role of the "frictionless conduit" here's a link to the above mentioned spatchcock chix:

http://www.nakedwhiz.com/spatch.htm BTW-his main site is a wealth of useful information regarding the BGE.  You should give it a good look.

  • That depends on how much you like your mother-in-law. If the answer is "not so much", coat the bird in peanut butter and place directly on the coals for 1hr...
