Large egg table ... Good deal for me?

Someone is willing to sell me this table that fits a large egg for $85. Made of cedar with heavy duty wheels. Good deal for me? Assume I can add a few storage drawers on the right if I can find a way to waterproof them. Then of course a bottle opener on the side with a flag holder beside the egg to hold an umbrella when it rains. Considering wings would cost me $100+ I'm thinking this is worth the purchase....thoughts?

Check all the bolts. Stand on top of it and feel if it's secure. I'd get it. You could always change the top to granite or tile.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

I would get it for sure.Columbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013

I'd sure jump on it. As said above, as long as it's sturdy, you can modify it any way you want.I cook. I eat. I repeat. Thornville, Ohio

I have a very similar table and love it. The wheels are key! I can move it around so easily. I got my large and table used for a great deal and I took the table apart, sanded it and refinished it to like new. But, I will eventually be switching to an outdoor kitchen set upmade of stone. My only issue with the wood table is it seems like a fire hazard. I have a bad habit of spilling coals when dumping my chimney of hot coals into the egg....so my fresh table has multiple burn marks.

Hell yeah. Wood probably cost more than that.Simi Valley, California

My table is exactly like the one you pictured, and I paid $ 225.00 for it 6 years ago from the dealer.
I say go for it.

If the table is sturdy, and the wheels are nice and solid, buy it!John in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

Seems a good deal. I built mine out of spanish cedar and materials alone were between $350-$500.
For storage you could also do big tupperware/sterilite tubs they sell at target/walmart etc. Locking lids and waterproof. just slide under the table. I have a beige color that blends in nicely.

Sounds like a deal to me. Perhaps give it a pressure wash and then seal it and I bet it would look good as new.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
