put 2 8 lb shoulders on fri at 10. stayed at 175 from 7 this am until 1 this afternoon. took one off at 5 at 200 degrees. other one has been at 190 since. 3.5 hrs. anyone ever had this happen ?

    Yep, it can happen. Don't know what temp you're cooking at but since you've already been through the rendering stage, I'd just kick up the temp to finish it off. I did butts last night/today. I stalled at about 195, so I kicked up the dome temp to 290. They turned out great.[p]Mike

    wingfoot,kicked temp from 225 to 290 about an hour ago. done a lot of shoulders and never had this happen. i guess some shoulders just have a mind of thier own
