A good Sunday on the Egg

I got up this morning and the sun was actually shining after 5 days of either rain or spitting snow and decided it was an eggin kinda day. After reading the forum for awhile lookin at everybody's latest cooks I decided on Hap's meatloaf. I go to the grocery yada yada After sautéing the onions and green peppers in my grandmothers CI skillet

I decided that since the egg was hot I should do pizzas for lunch. My SWMBO likes Hawaiian pizza and I can't stand pineapples so we went personal pizza size

Then it was off to making the meatloaf. I used Hap's recipe with a twist. I went half ground beef and half ground turkey. My wife likes to keep it somewhat healthy and I agreed on the mix. One has onions and peppers and one with just onions, both have Dizzy Dust but mine has more

Goin put the baked taters on one the meatloaf cooks for awhile. I will update when done. Oh and forgot to add its Clapton on Pandora

After the loaves have been on the egg for a hour IT is 130, potatoes are on and all is good.

Here is the plated pic. Took off the egg @ 160IT and let rest bout 45mins while the taters and bread were finishing up. The combo of turkey & ground beef went together

Man if i could keep from having to run the kids all around kingdom come then I might could have a Sundays like that as well.

But who am I kidding...I love my kids and would happily choose them over the egg. It is a nice looking day you had there though!

@r270ba - My girl is 22 on own her own and my wife was upstairs working so I got to play. Normally my wife isn't workin on Sun but I still get to get my egg-on
