First time posting pics and I failed sorry for the duplicates and no text.....So I started with 2# large gulf shrimp, heads on brought in this morning and 0.5# of U10 scallops which ended up being U6. I split the shrimp did 1# as the Diablo shrimp, I loved it, next time I will not add the salt. The other # I coated in grey poupon and wrapped in bacon, this dish is the only thing I have found gwaltney bacon to be good for. I then wrapped my 3 scallops in bacon, one I coated in the diablo seasoning. I always take the shells off before cooking, also I find soaking the toothpicks in olive oil as the best way to prevent them from burning and crumbling. I also wrapped a few of the diablos in bacon and loved it.

Good lookin shrimp. The shot of those scallops on the plate is great. Never tried mustard on bacon wrapped shrimp before - do you taste any of the mustard after cooking?#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

All of that looks great! I just threw some rub on some frozen shrimp for dinner tonight, yours look way better! I'll have to give the olive oil toothpick trick a try sometime.Large & Small BGE, CGW Two-Tier Swing Rack for BOTH EGGS, Spider for the Wok, eggCARTen & and Cedar Pergola my Eggs call home in Edmond, OK.

The mustard is very subtle.

@solson005 an advantage to living on the water is no frozen seafood.

I traveled for work and was up and down the coast of California, I wish I knew about the BGE at the time I would have kept a mini in my trunk, but I live in Oklahoma now so its big bucks or frozen seafood for me. Shrimp isn't that big of a issue but other fish prices are killing me. Jealous for sure.Large & Small BGE, CGW Two-Tier Swing Rack for BOTH EGGS, Spider for the Wok, eggCARTen & and Cedar Pergola my Eggs call home in Edmond, OK.

@solson005 I'd much rather live in a swamp or the woods. Traveling Cali with a mini would have been nice.
