Sunny Sunday Cook...

After all of the drama of the snowstorm that wasn't... Sunday has turned out to be a beautiful brisk sunny day. This is going to be a day of prep cooks and special requests...

My wife has requested a pizza; just one, extra cheese... (picked up a pre assembled one from Wegmans)
I have 10 chicken breasts that I want to do for the week...
Hard boiling 18 eggs for the week (not really BGE related, but figured I'd throw them in here as well, they are eggs afterall)

Figure I'll do the chicken first raised direct; pull the Woo3 and add the plate setter and then crank it up to do the pizza.

Heating up the leftover brisket and beans...

All the while burning a stick and having a Double Oak (or two) enjoying the sunshine and some music...

i'm doing a pizza tonight. how do you do yours? i'm thinking around 600 degrees. gonna have this set up:

grid - placesetter legs down, pizza stone. gonna let pizza stone warm up for a bit then put pizza on. i have only done one pizza and it wasn't a success.tho i got my dough this time from my favorite pizza place.

I like to use setter legs up then the grid then stone, provides a little more airflow (IMHO) although I will be cooking them on the AR tonight two at one time

I do my pizzas setter up, grid, then my grid extender with the stone on top.

It feels like 65 on the deck right now...

Little summer wheat so I get some vitamin C with my D.

Food prep for the week. Pizza later.

Chicken is done.., I wrapped the leftover brisket in hd foil and its sitting on the raised pizzas stone warming up then ill throw the wife's pizza on.

Having a little Sailor Jerry on the rocks with an orange slice as a change if pace. Pretty good...

Glad your snow storm was a fail. Enjoy the sun. It's a projected 7-8 inches rain fall here in MS over next 24 hours.

Good luck with all that rain... I really like a big snow storm; not being treased like we've been so far...
