One smoked whole chicken
12 cups chicken broth
1 large onion
4 stalks celery
3 cloves garlic
2 tbs Olive Oil
2 cans of Grands buttermilk biscuits
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
Smoke one whole chicken on the BGE with your favorite rub..remove skin, fat and pull meat from the bone.
Alright, you can leave a little skin and fat in there for good measure!!
Place cast iron Dutch oven on plate setter and bring BGE to 350 degrees.
In cast iron Dutch oven, sauté onions and celery in olive oil..add minced garlic last 3 minutes
Add chicken broth
Pinch thumb sized pieces from the biscuits, and place in Dutch oven.
Simmer for 30 mins
Add two cans of cream of chicken soup and stir well....
Salt and pepper to taste.
