What is your favorite steak and why



  • I am embarrased to say this as a farm boy, but what is flank/skirt?  I eat ribeye as choice #1, porterhouse #2 -  can someone describe the type of cut/flavor of flank?
  • Educated myself on the internet machine about flank-  that just doesn't look like what I consider steak

    Either that or a strip. 
  • Currently it is Ribeye but this thread has now given me an excuse to try and re-try some other cuts. :)

    Love that it has a filet and NY strip in it. Second favorite would be Delmonico aka Ribeye

    ok, after seeing some of the pic's now I am thinking the NY strip thing was  a passing fancy -- darn some of those ribeyes look good.
