ABT Dip
I sure hope this works. I haven't tried to post pictures here on this forum.
I did a variation of ABT's last weekend. This is from a Maine egg. I sure hope this works.
Here I am cutting about two pounds of jalepenos into bite size pieces
I cut up one pound of bacon up into small pieces and cooked it until done.
I put aside the bacon saving the greese. I then added the peppers into the hot greese for several minutes to get the bacon flavor and to soften the peppers a a bit. I then soften 2 packages of cream cheese and added some crused pineapple and some Dizzy Pig Dizzy Dust. You can use any thing to flavor the cream cheese.
After all of this was done I assembled the dip. First in the pool was the peppers followed by the cream cheese mixture.
Spead out the cream cheese and sprinkle on the bacon.
Throw it onto the egg (around 350 dome) until the cream cheese is bubbling.
Garnish with some cilantro and serve with chips.
This is very fast and a lot easier than doing standard ABT's though ABT's are still a standard aroung here.

no pics came through for me just a bunch of links that don't seem to work unless I remove IMG from bookends and paste in webpage.
-
Sorry for that. This is the first time trying to post pictures from photobucket. Don't know the proper method.Dave San Jose, CA The Duke of Loney

It didn't work. Edit your post, remove [IMG], replace it with at the end.
eg ?img src=http://yourphotobucketaddress/photo.jpg?
Change the ? To a < for the start and a > for the end. -
No problem at all, seems this is an issue with this site. Just wanted to let you know. When I post a photo from my desktop it comes in tiny - not sure why.

Jasper;
Nice pics. I hope your cutting board isn't granite or some other type of stone, as this will ruin your Shun knife over time.
