With some Rudy's creamed corn, new potatoes, and black beans

And for dessert

Tried something different with a couple apples and limes

Lime zest on to the apples
Then the lime juice was added to two tablespoons of melted butter and poured over the apples
Added a handful of brown sugar then on to the egg

Pretty good - going to top some vanilla ice cream with this tomorrow

I love good cornbread and finally started making good cornbread myself. Mine uses some of the same stuff as yours.

Now I'm curious about Pepe Le Pew's yougurt cornbread recipe.

That is some nice looking cornbread, Frank. Looks similar to the way I do mine, except for the bacon. Now I gotta try it with bacon.

Was down in your neck of the woods Wed night till yesterday morning. Miss Corpus. Actually felt nice compared to Dallas. Hopefully the trip was worth it and it will pay off with a new job down there.
