Is that your own personal rub? or do you make it. I am a big fan of Chipolte and Adobo.. I use a tex mex rub but I have not seen the one you use. I have a place in Baja I go to 4-5 times a year if it is something I need to get while below the border. I will try my local Mi Pueblo market.. looks great on the tri tip...

Faith I'm sure you know you are part of this inspiration to egg on the beach & we absolutely loved it, the weather was perfect and the place very nice. Still have to go to Fla. for your delicious seafood cooks. ;)

Beli, nice story, nice vacation and nice cook. btw, trust me, that canopy doesn't provide enough UV protection under the Mexican sol, safer to send it to the GWN B)

Great looking tri-tip and pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I grew up in CC and spent much of my childhood and teenage years on Mustang Island and visited Port Royal quite a few times. My wifes down there right now on vacation and if this promising lead I have pans out, we will be moving back down there soon.

You know Bob, our neighbours were the first ones to come and ask, a few others walking by stopped to look at it and still others driving by slowed down and looked, very few knew about it though.
