Special dinner tonight

I know Neil will be late tomorrow getting home from work so we did dinner tonight. he was cutting grass like crazy all day and I had to work so simple was the key. Salmon, fresh corn and asparagus tart. did a pic of the raws and then started the tart and I am not sure where my head was... all the wrong stuff in the pic
the tart was puff pastry on the egg and was supposed to half cook and the daisy flipped open so jumped in temp and was done when I went out to add cheese and asp.
so just patted the puff down and added the seasoned cream cheese and asp and grated parmesan. little chopped parsley and this was very good! was going to zest a lemon in the cream cheese but only had limes for my tonic
the salmon was just dusted with ragin river and a little ginger jam for a glaze. nice dinner for our 30 yr celebration tomorrow.

Tart still looks great. Looks like that might be sun behind the EGG in the 2nd picture. We only got a day and a 1/2 of it and they say back to rain tomorrow.

the tart was very good! I will do it again LOL we did have a mix of sun and clouds to day, that is why Neil was cutting grass like crazy. same tomorrow and then 10 days of rain in the forecast :(

Happy anniversary!
Tell me more about that tart. How did you get that puff pastry in that shape? Also, seasoned cream cheese - seasoned with what? Then you spread it on? And add the other things? Cooked indirect? At what temp?
Thanks!
