Weekends for us workin' stiffs

This Saturday I'm eggin' a 7.5# brisket (my first), and another month of home made bread (been doing that for 30+ years).

Brisket has been thawing in the fridge for 2 days, still a bit iced - should be ready for rubbin' and chillin' later this week.

Bread will be a multi-grain flax seed, flax meal, oatmeal, wheat germ, unbleached white combo; and I should be able to get 8-16 loaves baked in my oven while the brisket is smokin'.

Yep, that means I need another BGE, so I don't have to stoke up my kitchen oven on weekend days like this.
