Happiness is getting the egg temp to stabilize at 225 for an 8 hour cook. 1st pork shoulder on the egg should be ready by 4pm today. Can't wait.

Pics didn't show up. You have to change the img to IMG so that they'll show up. Don't know why but that fixes it.

8 hours is a pretty short time for a shoulder especially if your talking dome temps unless it's a small one. What's the weight?

Weight is 4 pounds and I've heard 2 hours per pound. Meat temp already at 140 after 4 hours. Seems pretty quick to me. What is the ideal meat temp to pull it off?

Daisy wheel is slightly open. Temp did jump to about 240 so the bottom was closed down a bit more. Temp back to about 220 and holding. Thanks.
