Flat Iron Steak w/ Southwest Rub

Tonite's dinner was a flat iron, about 1.25#. 12 minutes (one turn at 6 min), at 450 dome. Adjustable rig w/ grid (CI) on lowest setting. Two handfuls apple chips for smoke.

Rub:
2 Tbs Chipotle Chili Powder
2 Tbs Packed Brown Sugar
1 Tbs Ground Cumin
2 Tsp Minced Garlic (in the jar)
2 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 Tsp Ground Red Pepper

Meat a perfect Med Rare to Med on the ends. A nice sweet, smoky, spicy taste. Wifey thought it was too hot. Maybe cut the red pepper back or leave out next time.
