Wanted to test my new knives so I needed to do some chopping! Amazing how a meal can come together based on a fairly random thought! :laugh: It was really good; got a double thumbs up from Dave!
Here are udon noodles, my chili paste and hoison sauce:
Garlic and Ginger gettin' jiggy...
And my veg's: bok choy, pea pods, oyster/shitake/bell shrooms, onions
Shrimp:
All cuddled up...sorry a little smokey
Plated with noodles garnished with green onions - yummeee!
The knives were awesome, by the way :silly:

Nice looking //// just got my ceramic tile store Wok. Haven't seasoned it yet but I am looking forward to trying it our....and kung pao shrimp is one of my favorites.

Jumpin Joe, this was a pretty simple recipe out of a Betty crocker chinese cookbook (go figure!) :laugh: that I've had for years. I find some of the recipes kind of a pain - so many ingredients and timing intricacies...
