What BGE cookbooks would you recommend for a new egger?

I personally don't have the BGE Cookbook yet, but I've just adapted the directions in a book to the Egg.
I've been enjoying the BBQ books, sauce/rub/mop books...I recently picked up BBQ25 by Adam Perry Lang, Mastering Barbecue.
Working on a brined pork chop right now...keeping it pretty close to the book as least. I'm personally not one follow a recipt to a T, unless it calls for it. I have the book upstairs now, sorry I dont know it off hand. -
Everything you need to know is right here. Recipes a plenty by people who know what they are doing and how to cook on an egg.

Totally agree with the above!!!
Just thought maybe you wanted to fill a bookcase or something.
And when you can't find it here (really?), there are various online web resources provided by some very dedicated Eggers! -
Steven Raichlen's BBQ USA: 425 Fiery Recipes From All Across America
Mastering the Grill: The Owner's Manual for Outdoor Cooking [Paperback]

Bees,
I would recommend the CIA (Culinary Institute of America) as the first book anybody should use for any type if cooking.

Honestly, the cookbook Ive utilized the most since I got my egg is Peter Reinharts American Pie. The biggest selling point of the egg to me was the ability to have an authentic pizza oven that can recreate pies from Italy, New York and Chicago. It's part novel, part recipe book that allows you to recreate crusts and toppings that are authentic to the originals.
I've bought the new and old bge cookbook and they are ok. The new book is nice food porn but I find more appeal in utilizing tried and true methods from the forum rather than what some professional chef has created with big kitchen and culinary support staff. Also there are a few food blogs I read such as the Naked Whiz, Celtic Wolf and others that are related to bbq/bge. -
Honestly, I would not get a cookbook specific to the Egg.
I'd recommend perfecting your indirect and direct cooking techniques by reading this forum and trying out things.
Once you have your direct and indirect down, you really can just about convert any recipe to the Egg.
For example, my cook last night was from America's Test Kitchen and had nothing to do with the Egg or even grilling but it rocked on the Egg.
So keep reading here, ask questions, and try things you see people do. That helped me tons!Knoxville, TN

I'm a huge Reinhart fan; his Bread Baker's Apprentice and Artisan Breads Every Day are wonderful if you want to bake on the Egg. No, he doesn't talk about eggs; you'll figure that part out yourself.
I second Raichlen's books, as he provides clear, simple instructions for newbies who can't cook anything, or don't have any grilling/bbq experience at all.
My latest favorite grill book is Robb Walsh's Tex-Mex Grill and Backyard Barbacoa cookbook...nice stories along with the recipes. And Francis Mallman's Seven Fires is interesting for his overall approach. -
In case it hasnt been mentioned, without a doubt I'd get the Dinosaur BBQ cookbook...most recipes are very adaptable to the egg..has great cooking tips..and havent found a bad recipe in the bunch!
