the obvious answer is to buy another egg, but doubt at this time can get that buy the cfo (aka wife). So any suggestions to cooking a pork butt and chicken together?

pork butt can rest up to 5 or 6 hours. cook it first, then the chicken.
use a drip pan under the butt so you can take it out before doing the chicken. it'll keep the pork fat from smoking when you bump the heat for the chickened egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
thanks guess that gives me time to dry the skin for better crisping.

just start the butt a little earlier. kinda tough to time a cook like that to the minute. but there's flexibility because the butt can rest a whileed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante
