GOOD Chicken Breast!!!

Cooked a bone-in, skin on chicken breast tonight. Evoo, salt, pepper and some DP Shakin' the Tree. On the stovetop, carrots with some water, white wine, S&P and Pineapple Head. Both were OUTSTANDING.

As for temps on the chicken, I cooked at 400° direct on the mini. As usual, I overcooked. Thermapen said 180-ish when I finally pulled it. It was not dry - very tasty and moist. Well, most of it was anyway. Bone side was a tad dry, but still good.

For those of you who may be tempted to bust my chops about not posting picks, the chicken breast looked like, well, a grilled chicken breast. The carrots were orange. Deal with it. :laugh:

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

    You described it well ... almost like having a picture :)

    I usually always over cook chicken also, it's the one meat I'm worried about. Also heard a great tip to never wash chicken because all you are doing is spreading everything around causing more harm then good.
