    yeah, bruins got the best of them last night. ..tim thomas is standing on his head early this year...we'll see how they do in back-to-backs tomorrow up in beantown....

    funny start to the season. .caps aren't scoring much yet, but are a perfect 25 for 25 on the PK... go figure...

    i guess you are feeling pretty good about things right now the way your leafs are playing!! surprise of the NHL right now!!

    Yeah man, but after 43 years, I have learned to not get over excited. They are playing with a lot of heart now and that is all anyone can ask of them. Not enough offense or goaltending to go the distance.

    its just a great time to be a hockey fan...fabulous young players all over the league...OV, cindy, stamkos, kopitar, backstrom, toews, kane, etc, etc. .. .every team seems to have a 19/20/21 year old or two or three of them. .. .i don't think there has been this many great young players since the early 80s when gretsky, brett hull, mario and messier all came up.. ..its good stuff!!!

    Its great to see them hungry. I hated the years where the whole regular season was no effort and the playoffs meant the start of good hockey.

    i agree with you.... you get 60 minutes of effort every night!! . ..there are plenty of young hungry talented players in the AHL and all over europe just waiting to take their places if they don't put up!!

    dammit. i went to record this tailgating thing, but the only betamax tape i had handy was filled with first-run "Murder She Wrote" episodes, and i was NOT going to tape over those.

    I hate the Caps.

    I did DVR that show last night. Will breeze through it sometime tonight likely. Was it a good show? They were cooking alot of odd things. Is this going to be an ongoing show with multiple episodes?

    Any EGGS last night. I didn't see any in the first 1 or 2 minutes that I watched.
