I'm planning on covering my eggs home. Just a simple 6 pole structure. What is the minimum safe distance from the egg top to the rafters??
Thanks

Mine are about 5' from an overhead deck. They are on the outer edge of the deck but I have no discoloration or anything to cause me any alarm.
I should add that I do not do T-rex steaks or nuclear temp pizzas or anything else. Max temps for me around 650 just long enough to sear a steak.
No science here, just my experience. B)

I think that will work for me. Thanks for your input.
