That is a very old XL. The XL has had the spring assisted band and new handle for awhile now. And the insides changed over a year ago. The only recent change is the dome.

I see three things things right off the bat. It looks like the newer egg has.

Dome has more area

Wheels on the nest are bigger

Looks like a center brace in the nest

Well, I could do them on my four larges and get another one or two in the xl and maybe one in the medium. Don't think my small and mini would be much help. Therin lies the problem :woohoo:

In a strange way that makes a lot of sense. In truth, My old extra large was damaged during fire restorations and I was assured I had the new style. Worth a try.
