Skinless boneless turkey thighs
Clay Q
Posts: 4,486
Perfect for summer grillin. I'm hooked on skinless boneless chick thighs and thought I'd give turkey a try. Went indirect with a touch of hickory smoke.
Started at 350 dome and opened it up to 400.
Mopped with apple cider vinegar/canola oil the first 15 minutes then dusted with seasoning turning 4 times.
I removed the skin and the single thigh bone meself, easy enough with a de-boning knife, took about 2 minutes to prep two thighs.
All done at 175 internal in about 35 minutes. Easy cook, great flavor. Gobble Gobble.

Thanks. Now that you mention it, there is sugar in the seasoning, works very well with turkey thighs.
I'll be grillin this again! -
Nice idea!

Great idea! They look delicious, and thanks for sharing the idea. I roasted off a couple turkey thighs last night. Boneless/skinless would have been a nice change.

Clay, those look great. I'm with ya on the chicken thies. Some folk turn their nose up at dark meat but not me.

clay, those look really good and easy. ...i love turkey thighs cause they are the most flavorful part of the bird.. .. i'm finding pineapple head rub is a good match for them as well!!
but here is another way we really like them. ..a little bit of work but well worth it, and given their size, really easy to stuff. .. .

Hey Max, stuffed turkey thighs look terrific. I especially like the gravy part, makes for a special dinner and I'd like to cook this. Geeee, I see that I'm there responding. I was impressed then and I'm impressed now.
I'll be grillin turkey thighs again... so easy and I love the flavor!!! Super good sliced on a salad the next day also, I can't go wrong.
Thanks for the stuffed recipe! :cheer: -
no problem. ... you know, my safeway always has them year round...and i don't buy them often enough... they are pretty cheap, and like you showed too, really versatile....may have to go get some this weekend. ...try some your way this time!!
