hey rebecca....i found it ...this was from all the way back in 2004 when i saw something on TV about a competition team in oklahoma doing 5 hour briskets, and mike and i had talked about it, and he told me about sugaring the brisket, etc. ....so here was my post about doing the 5 hour brisket for the first time, and some of mike's feedback, etc. ...

that was cool max. i remember a bunch of that sugaring the brisket going on when i first got here but have not seen it much since... oh well
