The next time I am asked why I do this, why I beg for money, Well here is why!!

One of the Units we fed last year lost over 30 members in the year they were in Afghanistan. Did we as the American public hear about them? Mostly no, because these fallen heroes had the unfortunate timing to die when a Hollywood celebrity died.. It was the largest loss of any unit.

I will thank them till I can no longer stand up and then I will make sure someone else carries the torch.

I can only hope that our Savior is watching over the families of those lost by the 2-508th PIR.

Pete they thank you for what you do. I think when anyone goes out of their way, the guys thank you and remember.
Sure it would be better to get that food at home with mom and dad, but you are the next best thing and they remember.
