Reheating Pulled Pork

Have read posts on here about adding coke to pulled pork for reheating. Do you stir everything together or just put the coke in the bottom of the pan, cover, and let things warm up? Does it taste like coke?

sharhamm, I thought I read different ones saying to use classic coke but, I have never done it because I sit there and eat all the butt until it's gone! :P No I'm kidding. :silly:
I usually don't add moisture I simply nuke it just enough to warm it up.
Check out this post and what Mad Max said about it. Tim

I stir it all together, but I'm not sure that it matters. You will not taste the Coke. Just make sure you use regular Coke. Others have said that Diet Coke won't work and even that Pepsi won't work; I can't imagine why that would be the case, but I've never wanted to tempt fate!

Foodsaver, Foodsaver, Foodsaver! I vacuum pack my leftover pulled pork, and to reheat, I just drop the whole pack in a pot of boiling water for a bit. Comes out out of the bag just as good as it went in.
