I have friends that might be going to restaruant depot, does anyone know about what a 20lb bag of royal oak cost. Just a ball park figure.
Thanks,

The last time I went to RD they were selling it around 12 bucks. But it's the lousy Paraguay stuff.

I did tell them only if it's USA made.
Thanks,

Currently the RO at the Atlanta stores is Made in Argentina, and definitely should not be bought. I call them about once a month to verify where it is made and they have not had Made in USA in over a year.
I have switched to The Original Charcoal Company charcoal at Ingles stores. $5.27 for a 10 pound bag. Burns 20% longer than RO and best of all, virtually no VOC's at start up! No white smoke. -
Phil, I am going to be up your way this weekend. I may stop at the Ingles on 92, for some of that stuff based on your recommendation.
Have you eaten at the Bubba-Que there in the same strip? It is very good, Bubba is a great guy and does alot of comps on KCBS circuit. -
Week before last the Atlanta store had it for around $8 for 17.? lb bag. They had US and Argentina both. That's the store on Elsworth.

Thanks,
I'll ask them to look and be sure it's US made.

Thanks,

That's the Ingles I go to, right around the corner from where I live. They only carry 4 bags at a time, so if you want to stock up, I suggest you call ahead and they can special order as many as you want. This is what I do.
