Incredible Job in Youg Harris

We had 6 full EGG® teams competing at Young Harris this weekend. The EGGseQuetive Council, Daddy Pat's BBQ, Dustin and Rubbin, J&J Southern Smokers, Wicked-Que, and Team Bobby-Q.

4 of the 6 teams finished in the top 10 0verall (Charlie and I were 12th, and J&J was 15th). Wicked-Que won Grand Champion!!

There were 69 total awards given out at this event and EGG teams took 23 of them...one third of all the hardware including the Grand Champion trophy which was very cool!

For a long time I thought Big Green Egg was going to have to design an 'Offset Stick-Burner Egg' in order to even get honorable mention, but look at y'all now. Collecting 'atta-boys' right and left. And I'm sure there will be more.

Great Job by the whole crowd. We are real proud of Brittney and Dustin. Sure hated not to be in that crowd but we were the lone EGG Team in North Augusta. Only saw two other Eggs being used there this weekend to cook steaks. An Egg did the winning steak. The local dealer was there cookig in the sponser challenge.

Offset stick burners are getting to be fewer and fewer at contests. Getting a small quanity of quality product is what you want and Eggs can do that. We started on Eggs six years ago this August and we were alone but as this contested showed they are on the circuit and doing the job,
