Just a quick meal tonight and one that's been a while. Bought a flank steak and coated w/a little evoo and some Badia Fajita Seasoning. Pulled some peppers from the freezer and added some onions and more of the seasoning. Mrs.FoodPolice made some guacamole w/ some cilantro from the garden. Another tasty meal!

Man, that looks fantastic. I cooked two flank steaks Sunday that were marinaded in Mr. Yoshida's, maple syrup and a little red wine and threw on some Dizzy Dust about 5 minutes before the cook. Seared 'em about a min per side then shut it down and pulled them at medium rare...they were perfect! Great pics, the gauc looks great too.

Did you cook it like you would a regular T-bone? At what temp?

I think this was the first one I've cooked, probably around 400 and about 15 minutes and rested about 5 minutes. Was great.

I've tried flank steak a bunch of times but cant seem to get it to turn out as good as skirt steak. Ever tried skirt steak? If you haven't, give it a try next time. Good looking cook.

I'll give the skirt a try, almost used one of the hanger steaks I have but it was frozen and had to go to the store anyway. Thanks!

Jason awesome looking Fajita's, I love those flank steaks, if cut right you can't go wrong with them. It was a great time up there in Lake Hartwell with you and Angie, wish we all were not so far apart. But will be there next year for sure. :cheer:
