Hi Gang,
Got good news yesterday, they have ruled out pancreatic cancer. My pancreas are still inflamed, and I still have a lot of pain going on, but this is good news since all three docs had said they expected a bad prognosis after this test.
Since the test finished about 4:30pm, the doc was out of there before I could ask any more questions. Still in a holding pattern, but with a more hopeful outcome.

    Big'un, you don't know me from a load of wood but you were one of the first people to welcome me to this board back in July of '08. I am forever grateful. I have only praises for the good news that it is not malignant and prayers for the speedy resolution to the pain problem. I ask for comfort for your family that they may know exactly how to comfort you and the doctors to know the proper protocol to put you back on your feet. I will continue to watch the boards for a good report about your return to health. I know where to give the credit.

    Sorry your still in pain Big'un but glad of the news on the test. My prayers and positive thoughts are for you. Take care, I hope they get a handle on this soon. I'm an old hand at chronic pain, wish I could take some of it off your shoulders for you.
