Has anyone ever cleaned the inside walls of their egg? Mine is quite dirty. Maybe it is not necessary. Does anyone suggest doing this or just leaving it be?

Some recommend a high temp "burn off" I haven't done one yet but I did pizza yesterday at 650* and it cleaned a lot off.

  • Sometimes I take balled up aluminum foil and scrub the inner dome and it gets most of the stuff off. Mostly just leave it as it adds character (and flavor) to the food. :)
