Sams club lump (frontier)

A couple weeks ago I saw a post about finding Frontier lump at Sam's. I haven't ever seen either the Best of the West or the Frontier in the mid-atlantic stores (just Kingsford).

Has anyone reported seeing this stuff outside the south-central part of the country?

No, it isn't available anywhere other then those areas..

I get Frontier at ACE hardware in Melbouuring Fl and they will special order it also. about 60 cents/pound.Not bad for the price.

Bought 2 40lbs bags of "Best of the West" for $14.99/ea in Chesterfield, Missouri!

I picked up a 40 lb bag of the Frontier Lump a few weeks back from Sam's

At a retail of 14.99 it's a very reasonable price...(to be sure),and not bad lump
to boot.
I've used about 1/3 of the bag so far..so we'll see!

Soooo far...it compares favorably to Royal Oak...IMO

I have 3 Sam's club locations within 25 miles of home and I've checked 2 of them. One has the Frontier and the other has Best of the West. Both of them are $14.27 for 40# bags. I'm gonna grab a bag this weekend.

Seems that azbbguy got the word from the horse's mouth.

Those who can get decent lump for 38c/lb should count themselves lucky. The sad thing is that I can easily find pork butt for 88c/lb, yet lump often costs more than the meat!
