Morning all.

Got done staining my cypress table yesterday at about 3pm. Benn in the basement ever since (GA). How long before I can spar it, and after that coat, how long do I need to wait to apply other coast? I'd like to do 3-4 coats in all.

Thanks as always!!!!

The DudeThis is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.

Walter SobchakNihilists! *uck me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

I waited one day between coats but look at the label for the product you are using

It says 4-6 hours so I'll do ~5.

One other question, is it 100% necesary to sand it? I'm doing a pre-built table and that would be a monumental task.

    Thanks!

It's always advisable to sand any wood before you paint or stain. Between coats as well. Not what you wanted to hear I'm sure. :)

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
