  • Mike,

You hired electricians? Sparky and I would have done if for beer and ribs...no wait, with us that would cost more than paying union rate. ;) Looking good buddy!

Good luck with all of that. It looks a lot of work but it will be worth it in the end.

    Hey Mike

Congratulations on getting permitted. Around here your next big hurtle would be keeping building inspectors happy and the worst of the lot is the Fire Marshall. He can ruin a perfectly good rainy day. ;)

I bet your happy to get the egg rolling.

    Good luck,

    Gator

  • The Fire Marshall was a little difficult. But so far so good.

  • It has been a ton of work. We might be finished with 90% by Friday.

Did someone say free beer and ribs??????? :woohoo: Lookin good Mike :)
  • I should have flown you up. I know this is crazy talk, I can cook something more than ribs. :) Got 1/2 of my equipment today. Will post days 2-3 tomorrow. Why would some jacka$$ save 17 phonebooks for me to throw away?

Hope all goes smoothly for you!
  • Looking good, Mike.

Will the county health department let you serve food cooked on the Egg? I might be confused, but my impression is that STL County only allows food cooked on approved equipment to be sold.
  • Mike, I'm new. Where's your place located?

A smoker is a smoker. An egg is safer than an offsst.

Mike ...just make sure that in Canada On means On & Off means Off.....otherways....you won't have light when needed & you'll have to pay a lot for electricity...
