I am smoking a butt for the big game but have lots to do prepping for a party. Any tips for me if I smoke it saturday and reheat it on sunday>?

Thanks!

Cook it as you normally would, let it go through the rest, pull and put it in the fridge.

On Sunday get out the crock pot on low if the meat seems a little dry add some coke (not diet) about 10 oz to 8lb until it moistens to where you want it. You won't taste the coke and the meat will be juicy.

You could also add some of your favorite bbq sauce for a great bbq sanewich or meaty dip using chips.

That makes a fantastic 'wet' bbg sandwich and is perfect for second or third day eats.

  • Earlier, I saw a receipe that had pulled pork wrapped in rolled thin bisquit dough, , with 1/3 cup of pulled pork on a piece of your favorite cheese with bar b q sause all wrapped up, brushed with butter and sprinkled lightly with chili powder and baked until the dough turns brown. Doesn't that sound like a great snack.
