made some pizza last night , made the dough and sauce from scratch . We used gorganzola ,goat cheese , pepperoni , roasted sweet peppers , mozzarella , cherry tomatoes , pepper jack and some pulled pork from a previous cook. This was our first pizza cook using the new xl baking stone. I must say that it turned out well and NO BURNT CRUST FINALLY !!!! Now if only i can figure out how to post the pictures ...

Hi triehle98
Welcome to the forum. If you have not found it yet Grandpas Grub has compiled a list of very helpful links called Recipes, Links & Tips that is very useful and worth bookmarking.
The pies are looking great, now that you have mastered posting photos you have me drooling up a storm.

Thanks for the link Gator , Ive been stalking the forum for a month or more , lots of great ideas floating around on these pages. I would have posted pics of my first few pies but didnt wanna ruin the reputation of the egg with a few pictures of burnt pizza.

Oh man, that last photo looks perfect. Exactly how I like my pizza...little dark, caramelized spots on the cheese, good color on the crust...looks perfect to me!
I've never put garlic in the crust before, but I always have a little garlic oil around, and I brush that on the crust before the sauce and toppings go on. -
I know exactly what you mean, you will never see a picture of my first brisket!
