    Thanks for the tip! I think Kroger's is on sale for $0.89/lb but I picked up a picnic instead of a butt. It is really good and juicy but I still need to do a butt lo and slo. I didn't get enough bark around it either which I think is a matter of not trimming the skin of the picnic and the fat. I will take all fat off the butt and make sure it is rubbed all around. More smoke next time as well

    Saw that too. Picking up 6 tomorrow. They also have their Tombstone pizzas 3 for $9, so I can pick up some of those to snack on while I do the lo n' slow butts. :lol:
