I have a 3.75 lb. ham that I'd like to smoke using some hickory chips for this evening's Easter dinner. I have my chips soaking, my ham is ready to go. I just need to mustard it up, and slap a good rub on it.
Anyone have a good rub recipe for me. Also, what's a good temp. to heat this baby up to, and at what temp should I heat it? Low, and slow ??

Don't know of a good rub for ham, but I just finished a 10+ pound half shank (bone in) using Dr. Chicken's Double Smoked Ham recipe and I gotta say it's one of the best things I've ever smoked. The local Winn-Dixie had Cook's hickory smoked half shanks for .59/lb (limit of one per customer) and I'm going back today with the wife to buy more... we'll be checking out in separate lines.[p]
