smoking sausage

i would like to smoke some kielbasa sausage this weekend. the stuff i have is raw and made from pork butt. i usually grill the stuff but am thinking of hanging and slow smoking it. has anyone done it and at what temp should i cook it at. would an internal of 185 sound to high.

    <p />fishlessman,[p]I smoke brats & Italian sausage all the time. I do it on a raised grid, direct at 300 for about 30 to 45 minutes with hickory chunks. They turn out great and even better after a day when they are cold.[p]As a matter of fact, I just pulled off 5 brats for my trip back East tomorrow.[p]Cheers,[p]Ed
