What dummies we all are. We bought these expensive big green eggs made out of "NASA space age material" when really we could have gotten the same thing from Lowe's for $50!! lol

Thats pretty cool. Its fun to see what people come up with to cook on or with. I bet it works pretty good. No-one here would regret buying a BGE or consider this a viable alternative of course, but its still pretty cool!

A home made 'smoker' maybe. BGE, not so much, heck I want to see a 700° sear on that puppy. And, where are the gaskets to burn.
